Skardu & Hunza 10 Days 9 Nights

- 4:00 am Departure from Islamabad

- Stop over at Balakot/Mansehra for refreshments.

- Travel to Naran and stop over at Naran for a night stay at the hotel category selected/decided

- Spend time in Naran Bazaar, and enjoy the chilly weather.

- Stop over at Lulusar lake for photography
- Early morning drive to babusar pass, with brief stopover on Babusar top for refreshments.

- Night stay in Chillas/Gilgit

- Breakfast at hotel
- Visit Cold Desert Skardu
- Visit Bab E Shigar
- Visit Shigar Royal Fort also known as Serena Shigar Fort
- visit Manthoka Waterfall (if Time allows)
- Dinner and Night stay in Shigar Valley

- Departure for a unique experience of the journey to the Deosai Plateau

- Visit Sadpara Lake (This lake supplies water to Skardu city)

- Experience the lush green landscape of deosai plains, visit Kala Pani, & Sheosar lake (An alpine lake with a height of 13,641 ft above sea level).

- Travel back to Shigar; Either stay in a hotel or hike to Kharpocho fort (45 mins hike)

- Head back to Hotel for a night stay and the usual starry nights.

- Drive to scenic Shangri-la resort- a popular tourist destination- Please note that Shangri-La resort has a heart-shaped lake in - the center.

- Visit Upper Katchura lake to experience dramatic trees and the lake’s crystal-clear water

- Drive to Xokh Nala provided that time allows.

- Drive to the city & Check in at the hotel (of your choice; depends on the package you have opted for)

- Rest at the hotel for the remainder of the day or drive around in the city.

- Wrap up the day with a night stay at Skardu

- Early morning drive to Karimabad, Hunza Valley

- Travel and pass through Alam bridge and Danyor

- Brief stop over at Rakaposhi viewpoint (27th Highest in the world) for refreshment and experience the sound of the gushing water stream.   

- Check-in and spend the night at the hotel- with the option to enjoy the starry nights.

- Night stay in Karimabad 

- Visit Baltit fort (With a brief presentation about its history. i.e 900 years old) in Karimabad.

- Visit Altit fort (With a brief presentation about its history. I.e 700 years old)

- Check in at the Hotel (of your choice, This depends on the type of package you choose)

- Brief rest at Altit village and the nearby gardens.

- Visit Eagle’s nest, and duiker (the highest viewpoint in Hunza nagar) and experience sunset on snow-clad mountains

- Night stay at Karimabad, Hunza

- Departure for Khunjerab Pass (Pakistan- China Border)- Also known as the highest paved road in the world.

- A brief stop at Attabad Lake (One can have photo sessions, opt for a thriller filled Jet ski ride or jump aboard boats for a brief tour of attabad lake).

- Travel through Pakistan- China friendship tunnels and visit Passu cones & Shirsar peak).

- Travel through Passu peak & visit viewpoint of 4th largest glacier in the world (Batura)

- Enter Khunjerab National Park at Deh, Spot Marmots (If you are lucky)

- Reach Khubjerab pass (Pakistan – China border) & Experience snowfall if its your lucky day. It does snow there at times.

- Meet & Greet Local Tourist and Chinese tourist across the border (If any)

- Following short stay during which you can have lunch( Don’t litter), Return back to Sost where there will be a brief stay for shopping.

- Return to Karimabad & you would have ample time for leisure.

- Visit Café de Hunza (Notorious for Walnuts cake)

- Night Stay at Karimabad.

- Breakfast

- Visit to stunning Nagar Valley

- Scenic drive to hoper glacier viewpoint (Would not recommend trekking on the glacier unless specialized equipment)

- Return back to Hunza, and spend leisure time exploring Hunza around karimabad.

- Visit Café De Hunza- A Café famous for walnut cakes (Optional)

- It is a wrap; time to head back to Islamabad vis Naran or besham (Whichever is accessible)

- Night stay in Naran / Besham
